Refund Policy
Last updated: September 25, 2026 — operated by Ilya Litau, contact [email protected]
This page is the full refund policy for the early-access pre-order sold on lilu.litau.app, operated by Ilya Litau ("we," "us," "our"). It repeats and expands on what's already said in Terms of Use §2.
1. What you're paying for
The Lilu iPhone app is now live on the App Store; the Android app is still in closed testing. Early-access buyers here get their access link right away, by email. What lilu.litau.app currently sells is a one-time, $39.99 early-access purchase: a single payment, sold and processed by Paddle, our online reseller and Merchant of Record (not through Apple's App Store or any In-App Purchase system), that gives you lifetime access to the app instead of the $79.99 it costs through the App Store. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
2. Who you are buying from
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Depending on where you buy from, your contract for the purchase is with Paddle.com Inc. (United States), Paddle.com (Canada) Ltd. (Canada), or Paddle.com Market Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 8172165 (rest of world). Charges appear on your statement as Paddle or Paddle.net.
Your purchase is also covered by the Paddle Buyer Terms and Conditions and the Paddle Refund Policy. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights: consumers in the EU, EEA, Switzerland and the UK also have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days.
Want your money back? Ask within 30 days — no form, no conditions, no questions asked.
[email protected]3. How to get a refund
Write to [email protected] within 30 days of your purchase and ask for your money back, and we will refund you in full. That's the entire process — there is no refund form to fill in, no conditions to meet, no waiting period, and we do not ask why. You can also request the refund directly from Paddle at paddle.net. Because this purchase is sold by Paddle rather than through Apple's App Store, the refund is issued by Paddle, not by Apple. It goes back to the payment method you used, and card refunds usually appear within 3–5 working days.
4. If the app never ships, or launch doesn't happen
Lilu is built by one person, and buying early access before the Android app leaves closed testing is a real risk — this policy is the guarantee against that risk. If the Android app is delayed indefinitely, cancelled, or otherwise doesn't reach you, every early-access buyer who asks gets a full refund of what they paid, under the exact same no-form, no-questions terms as any other refund request on this page. We won't quietly keep payments for a product that was never delivered.
5. After the app ships
Once the app is live and you've received your install link, your purchase continues to be honored as lifetime access — there's nothing further to pay. Any separate purchase you make later inside the app itself (a future Monthly, Yearly, or Founding Lifetime plan — see Terms of Use §3) would go through Apple's own In-App Purchase system, and refunds for that specific purchase would go through Apple's own process at reportaproblem.apple.com, not through us — because Apple, not us, would be the one holding that payment.
6. Contact
Lilu is a sole proprietorship operated by Ilya Litau. For a refund, or any question about this policy, write to [email protected] — a real person reads that inbox.
